What is 309 stainless steel plate?
309 stainless steel plate is a chromium nickel austenitic stainless steel, commonly used in high temperature environment. Due to the high content of chromium and nickel, these grades of stainless steel plates have high corrosion resistance, excellent oxidation resistance and excellent heat resistance. This stainless steel also has excellent strength at room temperature and high temperature.

1.It can withstand repeated heating below 980 ℃ and has high temperature strength, oxidation resistance and carburization resistance.
2.Corrosion resistance: 309 stainless steel can well withstand various atmospheric environments even when exposed to corrosive elements.
3.Heat resistance: it can be hot worked at 1177 ˚ C and then rapidly quenched.
4.It is easy to weld with fusion welding or resistance welding (but it is better not to use oxyacetylene).
5.Even if the work hardening rate is very high, stamping, upsetting, drawing and stamping can also be carried out.
