Flat steel refers to steel with a width of 12-300mm, a thickness of 3-60mm, a rectangular section and a slightly blunt edge.

Flat steel can be used directly as finished steel, and can also be used as metal self-finished materials for welded pipes and laminates. Application: Flat steel can be used to make iron hoops, tools and machine parts, or as building structures, escalators.

304 Stainless Steel Flat Bar is the most economical stainless steel flat bar shape for all applications requiring strength and superior corrosion resistance. 304 Stainless Steel Flat Bar has a durable dull grainy satin finish and is widely used in all types of fabrication projects exposed to the elements. Stainless steel flat stock 1/2" thick and under is sheared and trimmed, thicker dimensions are true rod. Thinner dimensions are true rod upon request.

Note: 1/16" strip flats are cut from sheet stock and may have some curvature or twist. 304 stainless steel flats are ground finish, not polished.
